Anna Nambord
She has a background as an HR Director, Head of Sustainability and business development professional, with extensive experience in organisational and leadership development. In recent years, she has worked as an advisor to executive teams on topics related to the future of work and modern leadership.
One of her key strengths is her ability to connect business strategy with human capability – creating alignment between structures and people in order to build a coherent whole. Through this approach, she strengthens collaboration, engagement and a sense of pride within organisations.
During her years as HR Director and Head of Sustainability at Wihlborgs, she was particularly proud that the company was recognised as one of Sweden’s best workplaces for five consecutive years. Equally important was seeing sustainability become a natural and integrated part of everyday work – not as a separate agenda, but as a shared way of thinking and acting.
She has more than 25 years of leadership experience across industries including IT, real estate, grocery retail, as well as the public and non-profit sectors. These experiences have allowed her to develop her own leadership across a wide range of environments and contexts. They have also reinforced her understanding of the critical role organisational culture plays, and the importance of aligning culture with personal values in order to create genuine engagement.
In recent years, she has become increasingly fascinated by the power of a clear purpose. When an organisation’s purpose is used as a guiding principle for both strategy and culture, it creates meaning and direction. She is convinced that organisations that succeed in integrating purpose in this way are also those that attract and retain people who are seeking more than just a job – they are looking for meaning and belonging.
