When people and organisations grow together
Sustainable development is created when people experience clarity, trust and meaning in their work — and when there is room for responsibility, learning and joy in everyday work. When direction and collaboration work well, both engagement and the ability to navigate change are strengthened.
At Astronaut, we work with organisations that want to develop over time. Sometimes through larger transformation or development initiatives, sometimes in more focused engagements where a team, a region or a specific function needs strengthening.Regardless of scope, we see development as something that happens in everyday work — in how people collaborate, make decisions and take responsibility together.
How We Work
Our work takes its point of departure in the organisation’s purpose and in the responsibility for direction and collaboration — regardless of where in the organisation this responsibility formally resides. Sometimes our assignments involve large parts of an organisation; at other times they are focused on a region, a function or a single team.
Regardless of scope, we always work with an understanding of the whole. Even when an assignment is focused on a specific part of the organisation, we place it in context — in relation to structure, culture and the wider organisation.
Our approach is built on dialogue, trust and close collaboration. We take the time to understand each organisation’s unique context, challenges and goals, and design interventions that are relevant, practical and sustainable over time.
In many organisations today, digitalisation and AI are becoming part of everyday leadership. When relevant, we support leaders in understanding how AI can be used thoughtfully — as a tool for clarity, efficiency and better decision-making — without losing human judgement, responsibility or ethical awareness. Our focus is not on technology itself, but on how new capabilities are integrated into leadership, collaboration and responsibility in practice.
What We Contribute
Personal leadership development — strengthening people’s ability to lead themselves with awareness, responsibility and direction, regardless of formal role
Leadership development — supporting managers and leaders in leading others with clarity, courage and attentiveness
Executive team development — creating alignment, shared direction and responsibility at the leadership level
Culture and organisational development — contributing to workplaces where engagement, responsibility and performance reinforce each other
Coaching and advisory support — for leaders and employees who want to grow in their role and contribute more consciously to organisational development
Leadership and AI support — helping leaders understand and use AI as a tool in their leadership, grounded in responsibility, quality and long-term sustainability
Regardless of the assignment, our goal is always the same: to create clarity where there is complexity, and energy where it is most needed.
Organisations We Have Worked With
For more than three decades, we have worked with organisations across a wide range of industries — from international corporations and growth companies to public institutions and academia.
Many of our assignments take place in contexts characterised by change, growth or increasing complexity, where clarity of direction, effective collaboration and long-term responsibility are critical.
Through close and structured partnerships, we take time to understand each organisation’s context, ambitions and challenges. This creates development that is both grounded and sustainable over time.
The Astronaut Team
We are a small, experienced team of senior consultants and development partners with extensive combined experience in leadership and organisational development in complex environments.
What unites us is hands-on leadership experience — as managers, CEOs and board members — in settings with high demands on results, collaboration and accountability.
This shapes our approach: business-oriented, human-centred and grounded in real organisational life. When needed, we collaborate with a carefully selected network of specialists to meet the specific requirements of each assignment.
